How to join Dawnrays
Our company offers fair and equal opportunities to all
applicants and follows an ethical practice in our recruitment
selection processes. Any persons who are interested in joining
Dawnrays may apply directly by post, email, fax or other
channel based on our position openings released on the website,
newspapers, or other recruiting agencies.
2.
How to deal with personal documentations
Once the applicant is successfully employed by Dawnrays,
his/her personal documents will be filed under the system
of an appointed agency, and the registered residency will
be moved to Suzhou followed by the government related policies.
3. Labor
contract
In order to establish a healthy and legal employer-employee
relationship, our company and the employees shall agree
and sign the employment contract which states the rights
and responsibilities of both parties based on the terms
mentioned in the “Labour Law”.
4. Salary
Salary will be commensurate with job positions, qualifications
and experience. The combination of a salary package includes
basic salary, position salary and allowances.
- Salary adjustment will be considered under any of the
following reasons:
Annual performance review: the company posses annual performance
review in April every year. The salary may be adjusted
with the consideration of the job performance, annual
results and the salary market.
- In case of job rotation or promotion, compensation will
be adjusted accordingly.
- If the staff is graded as a lower performer than an
acceptable average standard in the annual performance
review, his/her salary level may be considered to have
salary cut.
5. Welfare
Upon the effective date of the employment, the company
will purchase welfare benefits for the staff in pro-rata
basis. The welfare includes pension, unemployment insurance,
basic medical insurance, maternity insurance, industrial
injury insurance and housing fund. Moreover, the company
will provide employer responsibility insurance, additional
medical insurance, additional single-child medical insurance
for the staff.
6. Working
time
The employees require to work for 40 hours every week,
i.e. 8:30 to 17:00. The shift working system is adopted
subject to the nature of every position.
7. Holiday
7.1 National holiday
New Year's Day, Spring Festival, International Labor's Day,
National Festival, according to the official holiday calendar.
7.2 Annual leave
For staffs who have worked for over one year in the company,
they are entitled to receive paid annual leave, i.e. five
working days starting from the second year; one additional
day for every subsequent year with no accumulation more
than 10 working days.
7.3 Home leave
- For those staffs who have worked for over one year
in the company and whose spouse lives in other provinces
or cities, they are entitled to apply home leave up to
30 days every year.
- For that married staffs who have worked for over one
year in the company and whose parents live in other provinces
or cities, they are entitled to apply home leave up to
20 days in every four years.
- For those unmarried staffs who have worked for over
one year in the company and whose parents live in other
provinces or cities, they are entitled to apply home leave
up to 20 days in each every year.
7.4 Marriage leave
Staffs are entitled to apply marriage leave within six months
after they receive their marriage certificates. Marriage
leave has three days, but those who are qualified as the
late marriage condition are entitled to apply long marriage
leave up to 10 days.
7.5 Maternity leave and nursing leave
Female staffs who have worked for one year in the company
and have received the maternity approval issued by population
planning office are entitled to receive maternity leave
up to 90 days, another 15 days are granted for those who
are certified as difficult birth. Additional 15 days are
granted for those who give twin-births or multiple-births.
Another 30 days are granted for those who are the late childbirth
mother.
Male staffs who have worked for one year in the company
are entitled to receive nursing leave (5 days for natural
birth and 7 days for difficult birth), provided that their
spouse are certified as the late childbirth mother.
7.6 Funeral leave
In case that the directly-related relative (parents or parents-in-law,
spouse, child) passes away, a funeral leave of 3 days will
be granted (excluding time spent on travel).
Two days of funeral leave (excluding days spent on the way)
will be granted in case of the passing-away of parent in-law,
brother, sister, grandparent, or grandchild.
8.
Training and development
- Orientation for new employees: company introduction,
company management system, rules and regulations, corporate
culture, GMP knowledge, product knowledge, safety knowledge,
SOP (position) training, etiquette training, and etc.
- Internal training: our staffs can apply or may be appointed
to participate in various kinds of training programs held
by the company for learning and developing specialized
knowledge, related skills and other job requirements.
The program includes the following courses: GMP knowledge,
position operations and specialized knowledge, safety
production knowledge, ethics, drugs related policies and
regulations, professional skills, and etc. The program
will be taught by internal trainer or external experts
invited by the company.
- External training: supervisory and managerial grade
of our staffs can apply or may be selected in participate
various kinds of training programs offered by external
training organizations to improve their management capability
and technical skills.
- Personal continuing study: apart from the training mentioned
above, in order to improve staff quality, the company
encourages our staffs to pursue continuing studies in
post secondary colleges or night schools during their
spare time, such as degree programs, job training or other
qualifications.
9. Encouragement and award
9.1 The company awards its staffs who are qualified
one of the following conditions:
- The staffs have completed the service in the company
diligently for 5, 10, 15, 20 or over 20 years;
- The staffs have made contributions to the company and
set a good example for the others;
- The staffs have made successful inventions, designs,
innovations of any techniques, approaches or strategies,
or raised effective suggestions, which have been transformed
into company's profitability or any actual return;
- The staffs have protected the interest and benefit of
the company, and prevented the company from heavy losses;
- The staffs have cultivated or referred top caliber of
staff to the company;
- The staffs have made contributions to the city of Suzhou
or even the whole society, which adds honor to the company;
- The staffs have the courage and enthusiasm in public
welfare activities.

10. Shuttle
bus
The company provides transportation to our staffs. Currently,
there are five bus routes, which have almost covered major
areas of Suzhou, including old city, new city and industrial
areas.
11. Meal
The company offers free meals for our staffs in our food
court.

Staff healthcare
The company creates a system of healthcare records for
each of our staffs. The staffs are provided with general
body check-up and female body-up every year.
13. Staff
Accomodation
The major dormitory of the company is Bi Bo Garden, located
in the center of Wuzhong Economic Development District.
The zone is a well-developed area, which is only 3km's drive
from the old city area of Suzhou. The dormitory is equipped
with complete living facilities and convenient transportation
network. Many bus routes pass through this area.
The accommodation options include: suite, separate room
and shared room, which have been well-equipped with basic
living facilities such as gas, sanitary installation, shower,
cable TV, furniture, and etc.

Children education
Suzhou, as a city with historical and cultural significance,
has a tradition of good education. There are many good schools
in Suzhou city. The company has played an active role in
supporting your children education and developed good relationships
with many local schools.

Suzhou has been a flourishing and rich city with developed
economy and expertise. Since 1980's, Suzhou had experienced
rapid growth in economy with various indexes ranking top
over China. As a small city with 5.8-million population,
Suzhou is ranked the fifth in China in terms of its GDP,
and it is considered as the investment hotspot of Yangtze
Delta. Many joint ventures, solely invested companies, and
foreign invested companies have been established in Suzhou,
private companies have been also growing in numbers in recent
years, leading to great employment opportunities. The company

Location of the company and the situation of local pharmaceutical
industry
The company is located at No22.Tianling Road Wuzhong Economic
Development District.
The Wuzhong Economic Development District of Suzhou, Jiangsu
Province is the south suburb of Suzhou, It is very convenient
to reach surrounding cities by taking bus or driving, and
the drive distances from the company to Hangzhou, Nanjing
and Shanghai are all in the range of 1 to 3 hours.
The pharmaceutical industry is one of the features in Wuzhong
Development Zone. The zone inside the Wuzhong Pharmaceutical
Industrial Center includes Dawnrays, Wuzhong, Wyeth-Whitehall,
Tianjie Biology, and etc. Many multinational pharmaceutical
companies such as Glaxo SmithKline, Pfizer, Eli Lilly, Eisai,
Baxter and Beckman Coulter have invested in Suzhou, which
attracted a group of pharmaceutical expertise in Suzhou.
